1. Improve handling orders from Online order page

Purpose:

The cashier can handle orders from Online order page easily and quickly.

Details of change: As of R100, there are these changes:

1.1. The cashier can quickly find orders which are placed online

On CUKCUK Quick Service, click on the iconand select Place order on website to accept orders.

– The default order list filters by the status of orders and first come first serve.

– When the customer or shipper comes to pick up, the cashier searches the orders by entering order ID, guest name and phone number.

Note:

– When searching by order ID, the cashier just needs to enter the last digits of the order.

– If there’s any new order, click on the iconto accept it.

1.2. The cashier can quickly edit order before sending confirmation to the guest

In Not confirmed status if the guest wants to edit order, the cashier can edit it by clicking on Edit.

The cashier edits order at the guest’s request and then confirms.

If the guest places order which is shipped to their friends or relatives and wants to edit the recipient, on Guest name the cashier can update the receipient info here.

After confirming with the guest, click OK to confirm the order.

Moreover, if any item is out of stock or the guest calls to cancel order, the cashier can click on Decline to cancel.

1.3. The cashier can proceed delivery and get payment right on bill list

– After pressing Delivery button, the order is moved to Shipping status.

– After delivery, the cashier clicks on Get payment and select payment method. The order will be in Paid status.

1.4. The cashier wants to send notifications to Online order page so that the guest can know the promotion programs or that the restaurant is overload.

On Order screen, click on the iconto send notification

On
Send notification screen, click on the iconto select notification type. Enter content and then click Send.

Then the guest can see the notification on Online order page as in the image below.

2. Improve Order at the table interface which is more attractive to refer promotion programs to guests

Purpose: 

Currently, food and beverage service business models always have to face the problem of how to improve the restaurant interface to attract consumers with attractive promotions. Therefore, as of R100 version, CUKCUK has improved a number of utilities related to the Order at the table page, which helps the restaurant create professionalism, improve its image in the market, and contribute to business growth.

Details of change:

I. On the management page

On the management page, go to Online sale/Order at the table/Settings: Improve contacts including:

1. Set up website info

– Address
– Other information
– Tel
– Email
– Website

2. Banner settings

Ratio: 2:1
Minimum size: 1024x512px

3. Main color

The manager can customize colors by entering the desired color code in the box below.

4. Take order

At Take order, check the box Require the guests to select table number for the first time of order so that the guests can add mutliple tables. When they scan QR Code, table numbers they select will be automatically merged.

5. Modifier

Go to Online sale/Order at the table and select Menu/Edit/Modifier, the manager select the maximum selectable number of modifiers.

Then click Save.

II. On Order at the table page

Currently on the homepage and on the checkout screen, when the guest accesses the Order at the table page, the screen does not display the promotion details. Upon checking out, they do not know the promotions to apply. This will create a bad experience for the guests. Therefore, the software has made the following improvements:

– Show banner on Order screen
– Show table name and item details
– Show total amount of items in the cart
– Show order status
– Show contact screen

Here are details:

On Order screen:

– Show banner on Order screen

  • When the guest goes to the Order at the table page, promotion programs will be shown as below.

– Show table name and item details

  • After placing order, the guest can change or add table by clicking on the iconto do so. Then click OK to confirm.

  • On Item details screen, the guest selects modifiers, enters note and adds quantity.

– Show total amount of items in the cart

  • On Cart screen, show selected items and total amount as in the image below.
  • By clicking on Order, order will be sent to the waitstaff’s device.

– Show order status

  • For Not yet confirmed status:

After placing order and the cashier has not confirmed, order will be in Not yet confirmed status.

Note: If any item in the order is canceled, it will be removed from Order screen.

  • For Confirmed status:

After the cashier has confirmed order, order status will be Confirmed.

  • For Canceled status

If the item ordered is out of stock, the cashier cancels it. On Order screen, these items will be in Canceled status. The program will show reason as in the image.

– Show contact screen
If the guest wants to get help from the staff, click on Request staff and enter their requests to send to cashier.

After the meal, click on Request to check out to make payment.

III. On PC/POS

Previously, if a guest canceled order, to accept this cancellation the cashier had to seek the manager’s confirmation, which took time and slowed down their service. Therefore, the software has been improved to allow the cashier to enter the reason for the guest’s cancellation and accept it.

Moreover, when the guest requests help from staff, this request will be shown as in the image below.

If the guest requests to check out, this request will be shown as in the image below.

3. Add Daily closing entry feature to Quick Service version
Instruction steps:
3.1. On CUKCUK Quick Service
, click on the iconand select General report

Select Daily closing entry/
Create daily closing entry.

Closing entry and additional info will be shown as below.

After clicking on Closing entry, the program will show this message After closing entry, data on Summary of closing entries cannot be edited. Are you sure you want to close entry?

Click Yes to close entry.

Note:

– If there are multiple tax rates, on Daily closing entry note it shows sales for each tax rate.

– At the time of closing entry, if any order is being served, you need to get payment before closing entry. 

– At the time of closing entry, if the shift is not closed, you need to close shift on all devices before closing entry.

Click Print if you want to print.

Note:
– Upon closing entry, if data is not the latest, the program will show this message Data was changed, please update again.

– You cannot edit or cancel bills which are closed entry.

For restaurants applying online-working mode: Close entry on each device

For restaurants applying offline-working mode: Close entry on all devices

3.2. After closing daily entry, the manager can check entry-closing details on the management page as follows:
On the management page, select Report/Sales report and then Summary of closing entries

Select report period and parameters, click OK. 
Here the manager can export the report to PDF.

4. The manager can use Offline working mode for uninterrupted operation when the Internet connection is not stable 

Instruction steps:

Step 1: On the management page, go to System settings/General settings/Implementation model, check Quick service on serving type and select Offline.
Then click Save.

Step 2: 
Log in Server. View details here.

Note: For the restaurants which have not installed CUKCUK Server. View instructions on how to install CUKCUK Server on PC/POS here (CUKCUK Server installer for restaurants in offline-working mode)

Step 3: Log in CUKCUK Quick Service.
Enter Server IP, username and password to log in.

5. Sale report adds received amount details by payment method so that the cashier can check and compare before handing over the shift

Instruction steps:

On CUKCUK Quick Service version, select General report/Sale report.

Note: The cashier can view and print the report and sales by item only in their shift.

6. Set up modifiers required to select upon taking order on Online order page

Purpose:

The restaurant can set up required modifiers and the order of display (required modifiers are shown before)

Instruction steps:

On the management page, go to Online sale/Online order page and select Menu.

On Menu settings, select Modifier category.

Then click on Apply to item.

Check Required to select modifier category with all items upon taking order and enter the maximum quantity.

Then click on the iconto quickly copy the quantity.

Note:

– When selecting an item with required modifier, on Online order page required modifiers will be shown before the optional modifiers.
