Fix connection error between waitstaff’s mobile phone and cashier’s device upon offline connection

The restaurant applies offline connection for all devices using CUKCUK software, when opening the apps and clicking Connect, connection error message appears.

Here are the possible causes:

Please check the causes carefully and follow these steps:
1. Because the Offline Server is inactive.
In this case, you only need to activate service on CUKCUK.VN Server. Here are details:

  • Click the icon MISA CUKCUK.VN Server Manager on the bottom right of the window.

  • Enter account information, password of Manager, Chain Manager, System Admin to log in.

  • On General settings tab, click Activate server. The program will display Active status.

2. Because the staff enters wrong IP of the cashier’s device.
You should check IP of the cashier’s device as follows:

  • On Settings/General settings, on Offline working IP address of the cashier’s device is displayed, you only need to re-enter this IP address upon offline connection with the cashier’s device.
3. Because the mobile device of the waitstaff is not connected to the same network as the cashier’s device.
You need to re-select network for mobile device of the waitstaff.

  • Enter services.msc on Run window

  • Search SQL CUKCUK.VN.

  • Double-click Services SQL CUKCUK.VN and click Start\OK

  • Click Start\Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Firewall.

  • Select Turn Windows Firewall on or off.

  • Change all status to Turn off Windows Firewall (not recommended).
  • After turning off firewall, if you still cannot get access to Internet, you should turn on firewall to secure your PC.
