Set up LAN network printer for the cashier using tablet

The cashier sets to print bill for guests or print order in kitchen/bar (Print processing order, Canceling item, Canceling order) via a network printer as follows:
Print bill

  • Touch the icon , select Settings.
  • On Printer and Template turn on Print bill.
  • Select LAN printer settings and touch Settings.
  • Enter IP address for the printer. See instruction on how to set IP address for printer here.

Note: Wifi to connect the mobile device and printer must be the same network.

  • Touch Connect.
  • Touch Print test page to check connection to printer is successful.

  • Select paper size.
  • Select a template as Type 1 or Type 2.
  • Note: For Type 2, you can set scaled print size in order to avoid missing information.
  • Select number of copies.

  • Enter restaurant information.
  • It is possible to display either restaurant name or logo or both on the bill.
  • Check the information you wish to display on the bill.

  • Enter bill footer.
  • If you use Check, check Use Check template.
  • Check Display the note Bill does not include tax when tax is excluded if you wish to display this message on the bill.

Print order (Directly connect waitstaff’s tablet with the printer, not via cashier’s PC)

  • On Settings/Printer and template settings, turn Print order on.
  • Click Settings on Kitchen or Bar to be printed.

  • Enter IP address of the printer. See instruction on how to set IP address for the printer here.

Note: To ensure connection and to print order the waitstaff’s device and the printer must use the same network.

  • Touch Connect. You can print a test page to check printer connection.

  • Select Paper size 58mm or 80mm.

  • Select the Order Printing Mode. (Default mode is Print items on one ticket).
  • Select information display on ticket: Waistaff, Order date and time, Number of guests, , Kitchen/bar name.
  • Select font size for Header and Content. It is possible to touch icon to bold characters.

  • If the restaurant wants to print one item in each order, select Print each item on each ticket. (for example: There are 2 glass of coffee, the kitchen/bar will receive 2 tickets)

  • If the restaurant want to print the same item into seperate tickets (for example: There are 2 glass of coffee, the kitchen/bar will receive 2 tickets), select Print the same item into seperate tickets.

  • Select Template.
  • Information on Print each item on each ticket template is set the same as Print items on one ticket template.
  • Click OK.

Note:

  • When setting Print each item on multiple tickets for bar, it is possible to set to display total drinks on Order by checking Display order of drinks.
    • Only the device has been set up order printing as above can print order at the printer. Other devices must be set up in the same way to print.
