Add drinks to menu

1. Purpose
To add new drinks to menu including Common drinks and Drinks by category

2. Fields
2.1. Enter common drinks

Instruction steps
1. Select Menu, click Add.
2. Select Type: Drink. Check Drink and enter information on General information tab.

Note:

  • The restaurant can use drink ID as suggested by the software according to numbering rules in System settings\General settings or its own IDs.
  • If it is special drink of the restaurant, check As special item. Then, the drink will be displayed in Special list on Order screen.
  • Description of the drinks is displayed on Order screen so that the waitstaff can consult guests.
  • For the item photo to look good, size should be 4×3. E.g.: 1280×720 pixel.

3. On Modifier tab:

Note: When the cashier enters other request on Order screen, this request will be automatically updated on Modifier tab.
4. On Price schedule tab: (Only display if the restaurant checks Apply price schedule on System settings\General settings\Purchase/Sale).

Note:

  • The software defaults 3 common schedules. If your schedule is different, click Edit schedule. When editing a schedule for a drink, the software will automatically update this schedule for all items on the menu.
  • If checking Not display on menu, the drink will not be displayed on the screen of the waitstaff/cashier.

2.2. Enter drinks by category.

Instruction steps

1. Go to Menu\Add.
2. Select type: Drink. Check Drink by category. Enter information.

Note:

    • If the drink is listed in the category, it will not be individually displayed on menu .
    • If you want to display any drink both individually and in Drink by category, check Display on menu for such drink.
    • If checking Not display on menu, drink by category will not be displayed on the screen of the waitstaff/cashier.
