According to BIR regulations, the restaurant must close entries on all devices at the end of a day. To proceed daily closing entry, all shifts must be closed, and there’s no open order.<\/p>\n

On the management page, go to\u00a0System settings\/General settings.\u00a0<\/strong>On\u00a0Purchase\/Sale <\/strong>tab, select to to close entries individually on each device or simultaneously on all devices at\u00a0Close book method.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

  • Closing entries individually on each device means that when one device closes its entries, the other devices still can continue working.<\/li>\n
  • Closing entries simultaneously on all devices means that when one device closes its entries, entries on the other devices will also be closed.<\/li>\n
  • If the restaurant forgets to close daily entries, by the end of the revenue day the program will automatically closes all daily entries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Below are the steps of closing daily entries:<\/p>\n

    On PC\/POS, click on this icon\"\". Then select\u00a0General report\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Daily closing entry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Tap on\u00a0Create Z-Reading Report.\u00a0<\/strong>Check all the details and then press\u00a0Closing entry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    After closing entry successfully, you can print the report by tapping on\u00a0Print.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Here is a cut of the print template.<\/p>\n

    Please note that<\/strong> if there’s any open shift, the program will show this warning. You should close all shifts.<\/p>\n

    When you log in the app again, do not\u00a0click on Open shift <\/strong>but Cancel<\/strong>. Otherwise, you cannot create Z-Reading Report.<\/p>\n

    To check reports on daily entry-closing, select\u00a0View by Actual date <\/strong>or View by Business day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
