If the driver is installed successfully but still cannot print via LAN network, the reason may be that IP address of the printer is not in the same band with IP address of cashier’s PC. To solve this problem, follow these steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1: Check IP address on cashier’s PC.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

  • For PCs running Windows 7, 8,10<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \nHere, IP of cashier’s PC is: <\/em>192.168.16.39<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    • For PCs running Windows XP<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Step 2: Check IP address of the printer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Turn off the printer<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Hold \u201cFeed\u201d button from 3 seconds to 5 seconds and at the same time turn on the printer<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

        In this case, IP address of the printer is 192.168.100.205<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

        Step 3: Change IP address of the cashier to the same band with IP address of the printer<\/strong><\/span>
        \nHere, to change IP address of the cashier’s PC to 192.168.100.xxx,<\/strong> follow these steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

        • Right click the network icon and select Open Network and Sharing Center.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  • Enter IP address of the cashier’s PC in the same band with that of the printer. Here, IP address of the printer is\u00a0192.168.100.205, <\/strong>change IP of the cashier’s PC to192.168.100.xxx (with xxx from 002 to 253)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      Step 4: Change IP address of the printer
                      \n<\/strong>Connect the printer with the PC via a network cable. Ensure that the printer and the cashier’s PC uses the same network cable.<\/span>
                      \nThen change IP address of the printer as follows: (Apply to Xprinter, APOS)<\/span><\/p>\n

                      • Enter IP address 192.168.100.205<\/strong>.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
                      • Click\u00a0Configuration\u00a0tab.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
                      • Here check Fixed IP Address<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
                      • Enter IP address of the printer in the same band with the set IP address of the cashier’s PC (set IP address of the cashier’s PC is 192.168.16.39<\/strong> => enter IP address of the printer within\u00a0192.168.16.xxx<\/strong>)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

                        • Note<\/strong>: when entering IP address of the printer, check if such IP address is used or not by clicking\u00a0<\/span>Start<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>=> enter\u00a0<\/span>“cmd”<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>=> enter\u00a0<\/span>“ping [IP address]”<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>(enter\u00a0<\/span>ping 192.168.16.200 here<\/strong>). If Request time out is displayed, this address can be used..\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
                        • Next click Save<\/strong>, and then click Restart<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                          Step 5: Set up printer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

                          • On Devices and Printers section,\u00a0right click the printer and select<\/span>\u00a0Printer properties.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
