Offline-mode restaurants

Purpose:
Detailed instruction on how to update software to the latest version (CUKCUK Server Installer for restaurants which apply Offline mode)
I. Update on PC/POS
Device requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core i3 or higher
  • RAM:4 GB or higher
  • Operating system: Windows 7, Windows 10.

Some notes before updating software:

  • Update in off-peak time or in the evening
  • Before updating, data in all devices must be synchronized to server
  • After updating, all devices must use the same version
  • Update server before updating other software

Instruction steps:
After checking the configuration, close anti-virus software and update the software as below:
Step 1: Update on CUKCUK Server
On PC/POS, click search CUKCUK Server

Then, open CUKCUK Server and log in with manager account. Then click Log in.

Note: If the server on the device is running in the background, the cashier clicks on the icon  on the bottom right and double-right-click on the icon  MISA CUKCUK Service Manager 

and select Show to open Service

On CUKCUK Server software, go to Help/Update new version

Click on Update to update to the latest version

Step 2: Update on PC
On Order screen, click on the icon  select Help/Auto-update and click Update

After updating, click on Help/About to check the latest version on the device

II. Update on mobile/tablet and KDS
Device requirements:
On iOS:

  • CUKCUK Sale app runs on iOS 8.0 or higher
  • Support iPhone 5 or higher, iPad 4 or higher

On Android:

  •  CUKCUK Sale app runs on all Android phones/tablets

    • Run on Android from 4.0.3 or higher
    • RAM: 1 GB or higher
    • Recommended:
      • Samsung tablets: Samsung Galaxy Tab A/E/S or Lenovo tablets: Lenovo Tab 3.
      • Smart phones: Samsung Galaxy S4/S5/S6…, HTC One M8, LG G2/G3…

Instruction steps:
To update, please follow these steps:
Go to CH Play (for Android) or App Store (for Iphone)

Enter Cukcuk Sale or Cukcuk Kitchen/Bar on search bar

Click Update to update to the latest version

Moreover, the manager/staff can click on Email, select Manage apps & device and click Manage

Then update the app

Update Tablet app, KDS the same as on the phone

Note:
KDS
 is only used on Android
