How to assign a staff to manage price so that this staff can quickly adjust price upon taking order?

In some restaraunts, when their regular or VIP guests dine in, the restaurant owner usually offers special promotion. To assign a staff to manage price of certain items so that this staff can quickly adjust price upon taking order, please follow these steps:

  • Assign Menu manager to the staff who can adjust price.
  • Select System settings/General settings. On Purchase/Sale tab, set Apply flexible price adjustment policy.

  • On Menu screen, select items which can be adjusted price.

  • On Tax rate/Price after tax tab, check Flexible price adjustment. Click Save.

  • When taking order for guests, on the item to be adjusted click the icon  and select Price adjustment.

  • Enter Adjusted price, click OK.

Note: If you want to quick adjust price for item, on Tax rate/Price after tax tab, check Flexible price adjustment and type price = 0, then Save.
